Best Of Components is a participant in several Amazon Associates programmes — including Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, and Amazon.ie — affiliate advertising programmes designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.

What that means in practice

Many of the product links in our guides and reviews are affiliate links. If you click through and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is set by the retailer, not by us, and does not change whether you arrive via our link or by searching directly.

Where your link goes

We serve readers across the UK and Europe, so a product link does not always point at the same Amazon storefront for everyone. We use your approximate location to send you to the Amazon site that actually ships to you and shows your local price — for example, amazon.co.uk for the UK, amazon.ie for Ireland, or amazon.de for Germany — falling back to amazon.com where we do not yet have a local option. No location data is stored against you; it is used only to pick the right link at the moment you click.

What it does not mean

Affiliate income never determines which product we recommend, how a product is scored, or where it appears in a ranking. A product that would earn us nothing can still be, and often is, our top pick — the recommendation is made first, and the link is attached afterwards, never the other way round.

How links are marked

Outbound affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow", in line with search engine guidance on paid and affiliate content, so they are identifiable in the page source as well as in this disclosure.

Other retailers

Where a retailer other than Amazon offers a materially better price or is the only stockist of a specific part, we link there too. Some of those links may also be affiliate links under other programmes; the same rule applies — the pick comes first.
